Chase Pinder - Professional Baseball Player

The Glide family is ecstatic to announce the signing of our newest member, Chase Pinder. Chase is currently a professional baseball player, adding to the long list of Hampton Roads Baseball players to make it to the highest level. He played his collegiate ball at Clemson and was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 7th round of the 2017 MLB Draft. He has spent his first few years in the professional ranks moving up through the minor leagues and hopes to soon get a shot in the bigs. Baseball runs in the Pinder genes; his father Chris Pinder played minor league ball in the 80’s and his older brother Chad Pinder currently plays for the Oakland Athletics.

Glide is always looking to expand its scope in the sports world, catering to the needs of athletes all over. When the opportunity to work with an up-and-coming star like Chase arose, it was a no-brainer. As a high level performer, Chase understands the importance of comfort and aesthetic with his apparel. Pinder, like many athletes, believes in the “look good, feel good, play good” mindset. Glide is partnering with Chase to create socks that both look great and also perform whether it be training in the gym or playing out on the diamond. We are looking forward to this relationship and hope to produce socks that will satisfy athletes of all skill levels.
